Based on the documentary ‘Ancient Behaving Badly’, do you
think all the vices committed by Julius Caesar were necessary in order to
safeguard the superiority of Rome as the greatest civilization in the ancient
world?
In my opinion, based on the documentary ‘Ancient Behaving
Badly’, I don’t think that all the vices committed by Julius Caesar were
necessary in order to safeguard the superiority of Rome as the greatest
civilization in the ancient world.
This is
because, as his role to lead the future of Rome, so it is unnecessary for him
to do such kind of work. People look him as a leader, a victorious dictator,
that must be respected by everyone especially his followers. He should shows a pleasant appearance. However, not all
respect him. Roman did not respected him as because of his ghastly behavior not
only towards men, also towards women and children. His reaction towards women is
very bothersome. He just uses his power in order to conquer and dominate the women’s life. His life is not as fine as he expected until he had been killed by Brutus because did not want him to continue doing the same fault to Roman. He didn't deserve to be a good leader.
