Test Your Brain Documentary has showed several moments of eureka and what I most
attracted was the first eureka moments that called as ‘TRICK’ in Pay Attention;
Game #1. At first I saw this clip, I was wondering on how the man who known as ‘Magician
Apollo’ going to make some trick using the moneys. He shows the trick completely
and successfully. But then I realized that there were a few tricks happened
behind the scene. My right hemisphere brain starts to make few assumptions
about this trick. Actually what happened was the attire of the man with the
changed of hat and a handkerchief, and also the background of the scene. I believe
we ourselves never noticed this would happen, but with a little pay attention,
we actually realized it.
Second, what I am impressed was the men exchange at
the counter in one of the television event in Pay Attention; Game #3. At first,
there were several people who have not noticed the exchange of the men while
they were talked each other. They just simply looked at the guy without realizing
the exchanged had happened. As for me, I think I myself not realized it
especially when I just look at the guy for a few seconds. But simply, they were
exchanged easily, in different color of shirt. This scene has taught me on how
to be a good watcher.
Third, the next eureka moments that attracted my
attention was when Apollo took the men’s stuff’ without his realizing. For the
starting, Apollo just simply made some conversation with his ‘victim’. Then, he
took all of his ‘victim’ stuff’ easily in pocket. This scene is one of eureka
moment for me because it shows how easy someone can be manipulated with a
simple conversation.
For a nutshell, I am able to make assumption and manipulate
some situations based on using our right and left hemisphere brain. We could
able to think extraordinarily especially when we realized some tricks are just
a simple way, actually.
